Game Day Chili Cheese Poppers

The perfect treat for the big party!




  • 1 lb baby russets
  • 1-2 Cups chili
  • 1/2 Cup shredded cheese
  • Salt & Pepper to taste


Prep: 20 Minutes; Cook: 15 Minutes

  • Wash baby russets
  • Parboil or microwave (10 minutes in glass dish with plate on top) till potatoes are soft.
  • Cut potatoes in half length ways and scoop flesh from the halves with a spoon. 
  • Place the halves onto a non-stick cookie sheet and sprinkle with a generous amount of salt. 
  • If your chili needs thickened just add some of the scooped out flesh with some salt & pepper. 
  • Fill halves with chili.
  • Bake 15 minutes till heated through.
  • Remove from oven and immediately top with cheese. 
  • Allow to cool 5 minutes before serving. 
  • You can make them cute by piping some football stitches on with sour cream.
